The Missing Link Between
Your Body and Your Golf Swing

Discover exactly what’s holding back your performance — and leave with a personalized plan to play better golf.
Most golfers spend years fixing their swing. Very few ever address the physical limitations driving those swing faults in the first place. This assessment changes that.

“My swing coach couldn’t fix my over-the-top move for two years. Dr. Evans found a hip restriction in one session. The swing fault essentially fixed itself.”

WHO THIS IS FOR

Built For Golfers Who Are Done Guessing

If you’ve been told to “fix your swing” but keep running into the same problems, there’s a reason. Physical limitations create mechanical patterns your instructor can see — but can’t fix from the outside.

Swing Faults That Keep Coming Back

You’ve worked with a coach. You’ve watched the videos. The same fault keeps returning — because the physical cause was never addressed.

Loss of Distance

Distance doesn’t disappear randomly. Reduced hip separation, limited thoracic rotation, and declining stability are physical problems — and fixable ones.

Inconsistency You Can’t Explain

Inconsistency is often a stability and mobility issue. When your body can’t repeatedly access the same movement, neither can your swing.

Recurring Pain While Golfing

Back, hip, shoulder, or elbow pain that flares during or after a round isn’t something to play around. It’s a signal this assessment is built to decode.

Lessons Without Lasting Improvement

When a swing fault keeps returning despite coaching, the root cause is often physical — not technical. The assessment tells you exactly what’s driving it.

Feeling Restricted in the Swing

When your body can’t get into the positions your swing requires, it compensates. That compensation costs you power, consistency — and often causes pain.
THE PROCESS

What Happens During Your Assessment

No guesswork. No generic protocols. Every step is designed to give you a precise, actionable picture of what your body is doing — and what to do about it.

1

Golf Performance Interview

We start by understanding your game — your history, current struggles, what you’ve tried, and exactly what you want to accomplish. Every recommendation that follows is shaped by this conversation.

2

TPI Movement Screen

A full Titleist Performance Institute movement evaluation identifies which physical patterns are present in your body and how they directly relate to your swing mechanics. This is the industry standard for body-swing analysis.

3

Mobility & Stability Assessment

Joint-by-joint mobility assessment and stability testing pinpoint exactly where your body has deficits that affect power, consistency, and pain. This is where most golfers get their first real answers.

4

Golf-Specific Physical Evaluation

You’ll hear exactly what was found, what it means for your golf swing, and why your body has been working against you — explained clearly, not in clinical jargon. No findings left unexplained.

5

Personalized Action Plan

You leave with a specific, prioritized plan — targeted exercises, mobility work, and next steps built around your individual results. Your program is loaded into the TPI App before you walk out the door.

The entire assessment takes 60–75 minutes. You will leave knowing more about how your body affects your golf game than most golfers learn in a lifetime of lessons.

Common Questions

Do I need to be injured to schedule an assessment?
No. Many golfers who come in are healthy and playing regularly — they want more distance, better consistency, or to stop fighting the same swing pattern. Physical limitations affect performance whether or not you’re in pain. The assessment is equally valuable for performance-focused golfers as it is for those managing an injury.
Is this a golf lesson?
No. This is a physical assessment — a clinical evaluation of how your body moves as it relates to your golf swing. Dr. Evans is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and TPI-certified specialist, not a golf instructor. We identify the physical limitations that create swing faults. The results can then help you and your coach work more effectively together.
What handicap is this for?
Any handicap. The assessment is equally valuable for a scratch golfer trying to gain 10 more yards as it is for a 25-handicapper trying to break 90. Physical limitations affect golfers at every level. If you have a body and you play golf, this assessment has something to offer you.
How long does the assessment take?
The assessment runs 60 to 75 minutes. That includes your intake conversation, the full movement screen and mobility evaluation, the findings review, and the delivery of your personalized plan. You won’t feel rushed, and you won’t leave with unanswered questions.
Do I need ongoing training after the assessment?
There is no obligation. The assessment stands completely on its own — you’ll leave with a clear plan and specific exercises you can implement immediately. If physical therapy, performance training, or continued work with Dr. Evans makes sense for your goals, those options will be discussed openly. The decision is entirely yours.
What happens after the assessment?
You’ll leave with your personalized exercise program loaded into the TPI App — with video demonstrations and your full assessment results. You’ll have a prioritized roadmap of what to work on and why. If follow-up care or ongoing performance training is appropriate, Dr. Evans will walk you through what that looks like. Most golfers leave with enough clarity to start making progress immediately.
