I believe that exercise is medicine. My approach involves working closely with patients and healthcare providers to create personalized plans of care based on individuals’ needs, impairments, and activity limitations. I emphasize evidence-based practice and prescribing appropriately dosed therapeutic exercises to improve functional mobility and increase a patient’s overall quality of life. I strive to equip my patients with the knowledge and information to advocate and empower them to take the right steps that are going to ensure they are receiving the highest quality of healthcare they deserve. Patient education can oftentimes be the most important intervention.

I enjoy treating the whole person. Whether those impairments involve the musculoskeletal system, neurological system, vestibular system, or even the psychosocial system. No two patients are ever the same, even if the diagnosis is similar.

When I’m not working, I am very involved with fitness and working out. I love staying active, whether it’s hitting the trails for a hike or just hanging out with friends in the community. You can catch me cheering on my favorite teams, the Carolina Panthers and the North Carolina Tar Heels, any chance I get!
